The team are planned to play their concluding group fixtures at Wembley, but, if they top the preliminary round, their knockout stage opener would take place at Newcastle’s St James’ Park. Finishing second would mean starting the elimination stage at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The championship was inaugurated at an gathering in central London on Wednesday night. Key representatives from European football’s governing body and the host FAs were heckled as they arrived the site by about 50 pro-Palestine demonstrators, who demanded the Israeli team to be expelled from the sport because of the conflict in Gaza.

Signs were raised with phrases reading “Show Israel the red card” and “You are complicit”, while protesters called out: “Kick Israel out.”

Tournament Fixture List

The inaugural fixture of the tournament will be held at the Cardiff’s stadium in Cardiff, on June 9, 2028, a fixture that will involve the Dragons if they make it.

The Ireland are set to play their first game at the Dublin Arena and the Scottish team would do the same at Glasgow’s Hampden Park.

Each host nation’s squad will take part in the qualification process; two automatic spots will be set aside for any that miss out on the tournament through the standard process.

Stadiums and Elimination Phase

Aston Villa’s stadium and Spurs’ ground round out the nine host stadiums. All will hold at least one knockout match, with the quarter-finals staged at each country’s national stadium.

The qualification draw will be held in Belfast, which was dropped as a tournament location last year when it emerged Casement Park could not be redeveloped in time, on a date in late 2026.
