Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
